Terms and Conditions
We have a very simple set of terms and conditions that are written in plain English. They are divided up below between Customers and Traders. Whether you are a Trader or a Customer, by using our services you agree to be bound by these Terms.
General
Our services are only provided within the UK. Use of our website and services is done at your own risk. This Trader, Calonia Ltd, and no staff or Directors of Calonia Ltd can be held responsible for any damage, or perceived damage, from the use of our services and/or website.
Customers
If you are using our services on behalf of a business/organisation you agree to these terms on behalf of that business/organisation. You must therefore be in a position to do this (i.e. have the relevant authority).
Services offered by This Trader are provided to customers free of charge. When customers complete one of our enquiry forms we will send that information to those traders who are registered with us in the relevant town. We make no guarantee that traders will respond and we make no comment or guarantee on the quality of any work provided by traders introduced by This Trader. Customers are responsible for checking references of traders they engage with via the services we provide. Traders are responsible for insuring their own work and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate insurance is in place.
This Trader accepts no liability for the quality of any work carried out by any trader introduced via our services.
Traders
If you are using our services on behalf of a business/organisation you agree to these terms on behalf of that business/organisation. You must therefore be in a position to do this (i.e. have the relevant authority).
You can terminate your subscription to our service at any time. However, we will continue to provide you with leads until your current paid term has finished. We do not refund part month subscription fees unless in some circumstances where we terminate your service. We reserve the right to terminate your service, at any time, and for any reason. When we do this we will refund any unused monthly subscription as long as the termination wasn’t as a result of a breach of our terms and conditions.
Our service is the provision of business leads generated from customer enquiries via our website. A subscription to our service allows traders to benefit from all enquiries received by us for a trade, in one town. A subscription is paid in advance for one month. We reserve the right to alter our services and the subscription rates at any time. Where we do this we will inform subscribers and they will be permitted to cancel their subscription if they wish.
Subscriptions automatically renew monthly. All subscriptions are non-refundable except in circumstances stated elsewhere in these terms. If you instruct your bank to claim a chargeback in relation to any subscription paid to us, we reserve the right to charge you for any subscription used and the cost of the chargeback to us.
We do not restrict the number of leads provided each month as part of our subscription service. We set a minimum number of enquiries we will provide at 5 per month. In the event that we do not reach 5 enquiries we will provide a pro rata refund on your monthly subscription for that month. In other words if we only provide 4 enquiries for 1 month then we will refund 20% of your subscription paid for that month.
We do not make any promise or guarantee of the quality of the leads provided. They are provided on an ‘as is’ basis.
Traders must deal with the information we provide on each lead in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines – which can be found here: https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-the-general-data-protection-regulation-gdpr/ Any mis-use of data can lead to your service with us being terminated.
All traders must have the appropriate insurance in place in order to quote on and deliver any job enquiry received via our services. We do not accept liability for any work carried out as a result of an introduction made by us. Traders are responsible for the quality of their own work and any insurances claims made by customers are entirely the responsibility of the trader.
